2027 EPSCoR Summit

Mark your calendars for the 2027 EPSCoR Annual Summit, taking place March 18-20, 2027, in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. We look forward to bringing together the EPSCoR community once again for an engaging and collaborative event focused on advancing research, sharing leading practices, and strengthening connections across EPSCoR jurisdictions. Registration details, program information, hotel accommodations, and additional event updates will be available soon.

Registration

As specified in NSF’s EPSCoR Awards Terms and Agreements, PIs, Co-PIs, and any other project personnel who have their travel covered in their grant should use those funds to cover the cost of attending the Annual Summit.

Early-Bird Registration: $100 until Friday, December 11, 2026.
General registration: $150.
Registration deadline: February 12, 2027.

The Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill has a hotel block with a nightly rate of $329.00. Please note that there is limited capacity, so consider reserving your room early. The deadline is February 15, 2027.

Share Your Work at the Summit

The call for proposals is now open! Submit a proposal to share research and lessons learned, build participants’ knowledge and skills, advance a cross-jurisdictional collaboration, or highlight a project success or challenge. Workshop, collaboration sessions, and flash talk opportunities are available.

2026 EPSCoR Conference Archive

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2026 EPSCoR Annual Summit in New Orleans, Louisiana. The American Association for the Advancement of Science was honored to welcome members of the National Science Foundation’s Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) community and to celebrate the outstanding contributions of researchers, students, and staff from 28 EPSCoR jurisdictions who shared innovative research, successful practices, and collaborative ideas. We encourage you to revisit the Summit experience by exploring the event archive, where you can access photos, presentations, workshop abstracts, poster abstracts, the meeting agenda, and other valuable resources. Whether you are continuing conversations from the Summit or catching up on sessions you may have missed, these materials provide an excellent opportunity to reflect on the insights and connections that made this year’s event such a success.

In addition, the Whova app for the 2026 EPSCoR Summit will remain available to attendees for one year following the conference. Attendees can continue to access event resources, agendas, presentations, posters, discussion boards, and other materials shared through the platform.
